I liked Shaq until he started shitting on all of his former team mates after he left the teams

Yeah I heard that. It's definitely become a pattern to where you can say "It wasn't all Kobe's fault that the Lakers blew up."

He also seems to be somewhat of a scumbag towards women, although that's par for the course there (that takes on a new meaning after Tiger heh.)

edit: Bill Simmons also claims that Shaq flat-out stole Steve Nash's reality tv show idea about being an athlete who tries every different type of world sport. Nash claims he told Shaq about the idea and Shaq said what a great idea it was. The next TV season Shaq's identical show came out.

    Know what, F Shaq.

I never liked Shaq as much as most. He seemed too arrogant coming out of college...

The NBA Finals have no buzz despite ESPN's efforts to get people interested.

I thought the Celtics had wasted a great first half performance from Ray Allen. It was laughable how wide open he was getting on some looks. That was a big win by Boston last night. It is really hard to beat a team 4 out of 5 games.

LA still has the best player. Boston needs Paul Pierce to show up in Game 3. I was impressed with Bynum last night, if he could do that regularly then LA would be nearly unbeatable (although obviously they lost last night.)

holy shit did kobe get jobbed by the refs. i hate the celtics, so i guess i'm rooting for the lakers by default (tho i was hoping the suns or utah would have beat the lakers).

they blew two calls on him in the first half and you'd think they'd at least think to themselves that he has some brownie points coming. sure as shit, right away in the 3rd quarter they blow another call on him.

the league really needs to make it a point of emphasis that you can't take a charge by moving into a guy who's already started his shooting motion. on this play, glen davis is in the restricted area when kobe is in the air attempting his shot. before kobe lands, davis gets out of the restricted area and bodies up into kobe (ie, undercuts him) and is awarded a charge call on kobe. wtf?

I agree on the crappy Kobe fouls. I'm sure he gets away with a lot but last night was terrible. Actually, last nights game is the first NBA game I've watched in its entirety in ages. Good game I thought as Ray Allen went off. That was fun to watch.

Ninety percent of the viewers are probably in the Boston and LA markets, not there is anything wrong with that.

Lakers win one of the most anti-climatic 7 game series I've ever witnessed.

Fuck Ray Allen for not playing that way against the Whorenets in 2001.
