    For the 52.38% that care.......

Tied at 42 at the half, here's Piper's impressions.

    Impression 1.

    LJ at the Home Depot:

"that child is pushing that shooping cart at an accelerated rate. should I throw my body in front of the oncoming cart of death, or scream manically that i want to eat the parents baby? "

    Back to the game.

    Hot

    K-Mart.

He is keeping the Nets in this game with his defense on Duncan and his activity around the basket. Leads all scorers.

    David Robinson.

Blocking shots, moving without the ball well and finishing. 5 games off helped the old man.

    Not

    Jason Kidd.

After hitting his first two, missed his next 9. And took too many chances.

    Jackson and Bowen.

    Too many turnovers.

this is utterly disappointing. the nets have played solid defense and really have an opportunity to steal this game with any type of perimeter offense. kidd is shooting horribly, kittles aint consistent, and harris aint doing crap. kenyon is the only guy out thereputting the ball in the hole. i still think the nets will rally. keep watching.

    edit- LOOOOOOOSHUS!

Duncan showed why he is the MVP in the second half. Parker got hot, Martin got his fourth foul, and Duncan just took over at that point.

With that said, with an average night from Jason Kidd, the Nets are in this thing. He played passively. Not only did hie miss shots, he wouldn't back the smaller Parker down or go at him. Martin was really the only half court threat for the Nets.

Tim Duncan is the Da-Man, 32 points, 20 rebounds, 7 blocks, 6 assists and 3 steals. Need he do more?

jersey needs some o, plain and simple. i like them in game 4 though- i like their strategy against duncan; they need lucious harris to get them about 12-17 points.
