He'll never play here. Like the tv said the dollar to Euro sucks almost as much as he does in a vastly inferior league

Looking at Yahoo.com analysis of draft and read this about the #20 pick

    20. Cha - Alexis Ajinca, C: The MJ-LB brain trust take a big guy from France, Alexis Ajinca. This goes against their old policy of only selecting Tar Heels. - 9:35 pm EDT
    – Ajinca is 7-feet tall and has a 7-foot-8 wing span. In a line that will certainly quicken the pulse of Bobcat fans, Fran Fraschilla declared: "So far, he has not been a productive player." - 9:36 pm EDT
    – I doubt that will be a part of the season ticket advertising campaign. - 9:37 pm EDT
    – Also announced, Portland sent Josh McRoberts to Indiana as part of the earlier deal. Apparently the Blazers wouldn't bite on the request for a couple of extra basketballs and countered with McRoberts. - 9:37 pm EDT

    Buzzmaster:*We've got Alexis up next!

Rob (Boston):*How does it feel coming to the U.S.?

Alexis Ajinca:*I feel very good. I think in the future, I can play in the NBA very well.

Zach (Mertzon):*what attribute or experience has helped you get where you are in playing in the NBA coming out of France?

Alexis Ajinca:*Maybe my defense and my blocked shots. I can run like KG.

Dan (The D):*have you talked to Tony Parker about the transition to the US game?

Alexis Ajinca:*I've never talked to Tony. DJ Mbenga plays for LA Lakers.

Mike (Michigan):*Who will be the better NBA forward from France: You or Nicolas Batum?

    Alexis Ajinca:*Me.

    Alexis Ajinca:*Me for sure.

Daniel (NC):*who are you going for in the EURO 2008 now that France is out?

Alexis Ajinca:*I tihnk Germany. Maybe Spain is too tired.

George (Philly):*Do you think Charlotte is a playoff team?

Alexis Ajinca:*Yeah. For the future, yes.

Alexis Ajinca:*Thanks for all the questions. Maybe I'll see you on the court!

    Buzzmaster:*Thanks Alexis!

    Buzzmaster:*That dude is EXCITED!

Buzzmaster:*He kept tapping my shoulder saying ''NBA, man. NBA!''

    tyler (detroit):*good for him

Chris (L.A.):*do you think he'll be as excited when he ends up in the NBDL?

Buzzmaster:*Not with first round guaranteed contracts, baby.

Buzzmaster:*I'm pulling for him. He was fun.

The news had been saying for the last 4-5 days that we loved the french guy..apparently he came in last week or so and wowed everyone with his workout. This is no surprise, especially w/ Hibbert gone.
