Didn't think much of it myself. Augustin may turn out to be ok but the French guy sucks ass in a bad French league. Gotta be impressed with a guy who can put up 5 points a game in a terrible league.

ESPN's Draft Grade for us: B-

    Thier take on Frenchie

"Ajinca is intriguing on paper and in workouts, but I'm highly skeptical he can turn 5 points per game in the French league into a solid NBA career. I think they wasted some cash buying the pick. "

Just read that, I wish we had bought the pick. Why the fuck didn't we buy the Hornets pick and keep our own first rounder?

Also said the Bobcats were shopping Felton before the draft. First time I'd heard that.

I wonder if the Spurs fans bitched when they picked Tony Parker.

well at least the workout video shows the guy has some skill - he was hitting hooks and layups, and was shooting jumpers from a pretty good distance. not every shot was a dunk.

but he looks like a bean pole and 2 on 2 don't exactly give you a indication on if he can actually play team basketball.

Well I`ll give it a chance and hope Brown can work some magic with the Bobcats. I just want the defense not to be a sieve near the end of the game. If the opponent wants to drive the lane for a layup then he`d better be on the line for foul shots in a bruised and dazed condition.

I read today that they're planning on buying Frenchie out of his contract in France and think he'll be ready to play on the summer league team, so it looks like he'll be here next season.
