    24 of the 30 1st round picks drafted are now signed. That's pretty amazing. How many NFL 1st rounders have signed?

    yeah - but they all have a set pay scale - it's not like they can hold out for more money

    Yeah, I know. That's kind of the point I was making, say what you want about the product on the court, but they sure as hell know what they're doing off the court.

    After a number of years of season-threatening labor talks, yeah, they've finally got somewhat of a cap and a rook payscale. The NFL hasn't had a game stoppage in, what, 20 years?

    I do think a better rookie pay scale would be nice for the NFL too. It'd limit rookie holdouts.

    Wasn't it '87?

    The NBA has only had one work stoppage in league history, I believe. They have the best CBA too I think.
