Chad Ford (ESPN) Mock Draft 2.0 -- Bobcats

    Bismack Biyombo

Analysis: The Bobcats are desperate for a big man who can defend the paint. Enter Biyombo. How much do we really know about him? Not much. But the Bobcats desperately need his length, athleticism, rebounding and toughness. Michael Jordan has never been afraid to take risks, and if he is sold on Biyombo, he won't be afraid to do it here either.

I can feel the excitement already! I bet season ticket sales would be off the charts.

We could get Chuck Nevitt on the cheap.

Lack of offense is the Bobcat's biggest problem. The defense has been good to great over the past few years. They need a big man who can score.

I read that the Timberwolves are looking to move down. I wonder if our two first rounders would be appealing to them. If we moved up to #2 and got Derek Williams that would be cool.

Chandler is now in the finals, why could he not contribute when he was here?

He sure sucked when he was here. He is good enough to be a starter on a team that made the finals this year.....

We are 2 weeks away from the NBA draft taking place. And the Charlotte Bobcats as of today June 9/2011 .The Bobcats have the pick number #9 as well pick #19 and pick #39 in the 2nd rd .With this draft not looking as strong as draft in the past .And with a big need to find a really good 3 point shooter as well finding a true Center .I believe that the Charlotte Bobcats should package the 2 first rd pick that they have .And trade it for a veteran player or players .In less the Bobcats can trade up and get someone like ,Kyrie Irving ,Brandon Knight, Derrick Williams ,each of these 3 players can start right away .Ones you get past these players then sure you can find a good player but you more then likely you won't find someone who can start right away.
