Discussion in 'Charlotte Hornets' started by sds70, Feb 12, 2010.

With a new owner, when could the Bobcats/QC host the NBA All-Star Game ? ?

I guess there can't be any serious talk about bringing the NBA All-Star game back to the QC until the new owner comes on the scene . . . I don't see why we couldn't host the game. We've got way more to do downtown now vs. 1991; TW Cable Arena is in the perfect place and we've got enough Hotels in the immediate Uptown area to handle the international throng of fans/media. Plus all the fan events can be held in the much larger Convention Center down the street from 'the Cable Box' . . . . I don't know why there is some question about whether or not we can host the All-Star game again
