    lol, I thought the same thing. Meanwhile if this actually does go all the way through the courts it will take 2+ years with all the inevitable appeals and such. I have to believe that as stupid as the players are, they know that and are just using this to try and force the owners to improve their offer. But I don't think the owners care about missing one season, so they'll wait the players out.

    which is kind of stupid, really, cuz you know whatever agreement they come to won't last more than 10 years.

    ultimately, tho, i think it's kind of funny that the owners are trying to convince the players to accept restrictions on what the owners can do.
