    i think one of us here (me) picked san diego to do real well this year. now, who could that be (me) that had such great insight?

    My Cards have the best record in all of MLB for the first half of the season. I sure hope they can keep this up for the second half of the season!!!!

    I picked them to do well as well but seeing Milwaulkee in front hurts. San Diegos new park has really hurt their bats from what I read. Klesko for instance only has 1 HR

    you know, I look at the National League and I could see just about any team in the league winning it, with the exception on Montreal, Arizona, Colorado and Pittsburgh. Florida and Chicago has the two best overall pitching staffs in the NL, and odds are fairly good that neither team will make the playoffs.

    i still have to go with the cubs and astros having the 2 best staffs. its true, there are several teams who could represent the NL this fall. i think this calls for a playoff predictions thread.
