Nate James never really played low post. On the title team He was the starting shooting guard for practically the whole regular season but he started hitting a little bit of a wall, so Duhon came in and started and James was the 6th man off the bench (Boozer was hurt the whole tournament till the Final Four) so Sanders (Black Zoubek) started and James filled in with his good defense and that nasty tip in against Maryland to win the ACC Tourney. He never played low post though. Battier, Sanders, Christenson, Boozer, and Dunleavy occasionally played in the post but James was a shooting guard/ perimeter small forward

Nothing against Nate James but this announcement does absolutely nothing for me. Liked him as a player, not sure how that translates though.
