Brady's in Chapel Hill. $5.00 for a half a fried chicken, fresh cut fries (skin on them with shaved onions) and tea (Ok it was sweetened with Sacerin) Man that was some good eats. They used to cater for the Tarheels home football games. Quick story. We had a exchange student from Japan stay with us when I was growing up. her name was Nobeko. Anyway she wanted to eat true American food so we went to Brady's. She had grease from ear to ear. Unfortunately her Japanese digestive system wasn'tused to the high fat content of American foods. Poor woman spent the night on the toliet and moaning.

Bob Petty's Oakwood Drive In on High Point Road in Greensboro. It had good barbecue and the best damn hushpuppies anywhere on the planet.

They bulldozed it a long time ago so we could have a damn ToysRUs. Like they couldn't have built that somewhere else.
