Great game. State looks like the Panthers' defense on 3rd and long. I just knew on that next to last FSU drive when it was 3rd and 20 and the play was called dead that they were going to give up the big play again. They'd been doing it all night. But they didn't, for once.

I like Herbstreit (?) and all, but he confuses me sometimes. He kept saying State had to cover the TE and everyone out of the backfield and make the FSU WR's make plays. Then, when State played soft on the receivers on 3rd and short, he didn't understand why. Either way, I don't like that soft coverage; State's DB's are skittish as it is. Maybe some of you football hacks can explain that strategy.

I hope State doesn't pat themselves on the back too much this week. On the road against the most disciplined team they've faced thus far. And Wake (under Grove, at least) is usually physical. It will be interesting.

Thousands evacuated from Raleigh suburb because of hazardous material fire.

Is this the way State fans thought to one up WVU on celebrating a big victory? [IMG]

Why was Amato crying in the post game interview? Was he happy he might keep his job?
