    1. Trade makes some sense because they both get what they want, but it'd take Chicago absolutely having to have Palmer and Cincy faking like they had to have him.
    2. seems to be penciled in already
    3. I'd be really surprised if they moved down for, in essence, a 4th rounder and a 3rd next year. It'd likely take a third and fourth this year at least.
    4. Kinda high for him, but it's possible
    5. I'd be surprised if any CB goes this high, and I dunno if Parcells would do that either. That would be a prime spot to expect a trade down.

    9. IMO, high for Johnson, but a need reach is possible.

Looks pretty good. If Dom were the GM in Houston we'd have a chance, Casserly will want more than a 1 and 4 this year and a 3 next year to swing the deal though. He may want a 1 and a 3 this year and a 2 next year. Would you still make the trade?

that was my thought behind it as well... I think Dom would trade down to pick up our 4th as well and still get a running back... and without McGee Johnson is arguably the top RB of this class

rogers to detroit does seem like a slam dunk, doesn't it? is WR their real need area?

  7. I'm really dreading the fact that Newman could go to Dallas. Of all the teams out there, PLEASE NOT DALLAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

They had nobody in the top 30 in the NFC in receptions. They had one guy in the NFC in yards, Schroeder. Him and Hakim should each be backups, so hopefully one can be an adequate compliment to Rogers for a year.
Rogers is a guy who played somewhat locally in college, rates that high, is high impact, and pairs well with the idea of getting Harrington a young weapon. I'd also get a TE ASAP. Ricks is light and not terribly productive. But they have other needs.

I don't see Detroit passing up Rodgers either.

I agree that scenerio is Cinci's wet dream, but I don't think they can pull it off.

Kennedy is top 5. Not a reach at all. And it's a huge need for the team.

Speaking of DTs, if Parcells stays at 5, I'm fairly certain he'll get Joseph or Wilfolk.

I don;'t care about anything but wasting the pick on Johnson.
