Props to Florida. They hit all kinds of huge shots all night. Well done, and a worthy successor to the mighty dook teams.

Oden played like a man tonight. How good would he look in Bobcat orange next year?

He can take his old, rim swimmin' ass somewhere else...I'd rather have Durant...

Donavan with 2 titles and 3 championship appearances...that's the million raise right there to match Kentucky.

Yeah, I now would rather see Oden in a Bobcats uni. He's finally shown some offense now that hes regained the ability to confidently use his right hand. Got great post moves too..

How bitter must it be to be a tOSU fan?

I would have to go with Durant at this point.

I think Durant is probably the more dynamic player (offensively obviously) but Oden has great timing on defense, and played the whole year on one hand. Assuming the Cats can sign Gerald Wallace, I think Oden fits better on the team. A front line of Wallace, Okafor, and Oden would be damn hard for most teams to match.

Of course, I'd be estatic with either.

Oden is likable but I see him as a bust at the next level. He gets credit for not fouling and looks like he's about to have a heart attack when playing for normal stretches. I don't see him nearly athletic enough for the NBA.

Really? I think he's very athletic and mobile for his size. His timing for blocking shots is superior to anyone I've seen in college in a long time. He may not be a HOF but I don't think there's any way other than injuries he would be a bust. At the very least he should have a Ben Wallace type career, assuming he has good work ethic.

edit: People have to remember that he broke his right wrist and was basically playing one handed and "not to get hurt" the whole year. I don't think he was playing at full speed. As far as his conditioning, sure he sucked wind last night, but he also played 38 minutes against the best front line in basketball.

Did you see the interview where he said if he weren't 7 feet tall he wouldn't be playing basketball since he didn't see himself as a good athlete?
