What this could be? I have really messed up my left shoulder but i have no idea when or what did it.

It started a few weeks ago. The pain is right in the socket of where my arm connects to my shoulder. The pain can shoot down to my fingers and when it starts it starts with pain in my neck. Almost like a pinched nerve. It hurts mostly at nights. I can't even raise my arm enough to take my shirt off. The pain hit so hard when i did that, that i almost felt like i could've passed out. And it almost feels like something is out of place when i raise my arm up and it keeps hurting till i feel a small pop or cracks and it goes back into place then it just aches like a toothache.

During the day, it feels pretty good, just a little sore but i can move it freely. Standing long periods of time makes it hurt and that's when it starts in my neck. Playing the piano causes it to hurt. Moving my fingers like that feels like it's pulling something in my shoulder.

Anti inflation stuff doesn't help at all and neither does aleve. I think this might be an old injury that i have agitated again.

I had pain in my shoulder, couldn't lift my arm straight up, over my head. Went to the doctor, he took xrays, found nothing. He surmised it was a nerve way up in my neck(absolutely no pain in the neck, btw), and scheduled a physical therapist's appointment. She gave me stretching exercises. I followed her regimen, and within six or seven months the pain disappeared completely, amazing! I was scared because I couldn't even sleep on that side, lift my arm without pain, heard *crackling* in the joint, thought I was getting really serious arthritis or something.

I had a similar thing in my shoulder and went to the doctor about it. He sent me to a physical therapist for exercises too. It worked really well.

It's psychological. You know you are going to embarrass yourself in the sack with AK so your mind is creating ways for you to escape it.

I think you have bursitis. From Wiki:
Bursitis is commonly caused by repetition of movement or excessive pressure. Elbows and knees are the most commonly affected because they are rested upon more than many parts of the body with bursae and they also get the most repetitive use. Inflammation of bursae can also be caused by other inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. Scoliosis can also be a cause of bursitis of the shoulders although this is rare. Shoulder bursitis is more commonly due to overuse of the shoulder joint and muscles.

The other main cause of bursitis is traumatic injury, which can cause swelling of the bursae. The swelling itself causes irritation because the sac will no longer fit in the small area between the bone and the functionary. When the bone begins to increase pressure on the bursa, bursitis ensues.

    Rest and cortisone.

    Good Luck

Why do you always have to contradict me? I mean seriously, do you just follow me around the board and disagree with everything I post?

Sounds like you're having shoulder pain.

If I were you, I would consider trying something to see if it works.
