So Incubus used to be my favorite band. IMO they had it all. They had originality (well drawn from Mr Bungle) the guy could write and sing. Their guitars weren't overly complex but sufficient their bass rocked. Then all that changed. After SCIENCE these guys lost it baaaad. I was listening to Science today (possibly the best album ever) and its a masterpiece. Their track on the Spawn soundtrack is amazing. Then Make Yourself. WTF?? This is the cheesiest most unoriginal crap ever. Then came that other on....ummm... ahhh.....Morning View thats it. And even more WTF. I know this is way late but it still sucks.

I like it. I don't think they lost a step. Took me a while to get into Morningside but damn, how can you not like "Floating down a river?"

I can't seem to get into anything in their new cds. I miss the funk inspired stuff.

Have in you ever seen them live?? Two hour set that just blows you away. I left their show feeling very relaxed and know that I just enjoyed a set from one of this generations great live bands. Great sound, great lyrics, and very soild live and on CD. I don't understand how you couldn't like 'em..

Ugh. My ex-wife listened to that shit...

On the flipside, I did read an article about the lead singer, and he seems like a very interesting and well-read guy. He and I have some similar interests.

But that doesn't mean I want to listen to the music...

Two hour sets are pretty much standard for any concert.

I have seen them live 7 times 5 pre suck 2 post suck. Their new sets are weak. Cooler people are doing mellow a lot better than them. They were the best at energy though. Another good band dead :(
