The top of my foot is killing me. I can barely walk on it with out shooting pain/ache. It helps when I curl my toes under. I know there are a ton of bones in your feet, could I have broke a bone? No visible swelling or bruising.

Are you running, treadmilling or anything as of late that you could have gotten a stress fracture there?

Well you need another affliction, that was too simple and didn't cause a sufficient stir. Just say it's still bothering you and possibly running red streaks up your leg with a slight fever.

could be the onset.....bet the next episode will be a true bitch....I've had gout, the first time hurt like crazy for a day, and magically went away....didn't even know what it was. thought i had done something while cutting grass on the slope in the back yard. next time it came up, about 3 months later, I was in so much pain I was waiting at the doctor's office door when the place opened. drink lots of water.....may be uric acid build up in the joints in your foot. Causes crystallization in the joints...very often in the big toe... If it comes back, go to the doc and they'll do a test to check the uric acid in your blood.....

    ...I am not a doctor.
