i don't know how i got the national lampoon's "gold turkey" album, but it was awesome. of course, i was only 7 or so and didn't get a lot of the jokes until later on...

bunkyboy's caption on redcoat's thread reminded me of one of their skits that included "lord over the shoulder boulder holder".

    anyone else have this album?

i think it also had basketball jones on it. or maybe i'm getting it mixed up with my cheech and chong album.

when i say album, i mean a true 33 1/3 LP. ever seen one of those hotshot? :)

yeah, after doing some research, i was getting it confused with this one:

    LarryD - My advice...

Make em laugh, make em laugh, make em laugh.

    Good for the soul.

They won't get the real adult stuff either but will know it is funny.

    Don't hold back:D

    Cheech and Chong's Greastest Hit--

Some of the funniest stuff is listening to tall the background chatter in Sister Mary Elephant.

...gonna sing her a song, gonna show her my...

    Ding Dong....

and from trippin in court, " i've dropped acid 33 times, man..no, 3 times, man

    and.
i don't need no acid, man ,and i don't need no marijuana, man, cos I'm hooked on downers!!

What was judges name? was it Stoner?

That stuff and Richard Pryor kept me and my buddies throughly entertained. Beer, joints, and comedy most every night.

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Cheech and Chong. Now they bring back memories. Blurry ones but at least they are memories of some sort. They taught me a lot lol. My son is 19 and he loves Cheech and Chong. I razz him about that because he was always putting me down for stuff I listened to back when I was a teen. I also have George Carlins greatest CD but he doesnt quite care for him.

Children of the Green Grass. Had it about 15 years ago and lost it (read: stolen from my dorm room). Have been looking for a copy ever since and can't find one. The guy at the House of Guitars said it's "extremely rare."
