How you figure he's fragile? He's been pretty healthy and sure he's short but he carries 217 pounds.

    Negatives:
Williams doesn't always show the instincts you want to see from a runner by not seeming to always read where linebackers and safeties are going in relation to his running lanes. Also seems to have some problems breaking tackles once the tackler starts wrapping up and pushing through them for extra yardage, but he has gotten better about it over the past couple of seasons. Williams has had some problems with leg injuries, which could be a concern for prospective teams.

    Weaknesses:
May have some durability questions after suffering injuries the past two seasons. Is not the biggest or fastest running back to come along in terms of measurables...has carried the ball a lot and has some mileage on his tires...gives good effort as a blocker but may never be great in that area...raised some eyebrows when he chose to sit out the Tennessee game with an injury.

yup - according to a couple of pack fans I work with Hawk is the guy at the top of GBs list. They need a G also but despite recent rumors they are not interested in Ferguson . . . they have Tauscher and Clifton at T.
My friends think Hawk is the next Urlacher

Nope, that's it for my Mock draft.

I'll have my annual WP's 28 players to watch on draft day up Saturday morning.

Many people are saying that Reese and Adams prefer Young, so it could happen. It wouldn't be the right move. Young would be the better fit in Oakland (although they could, and perhaps should, pass on QB all together), and Leinert would be better for Tennessee.

On the ESPN Draft Special during their mock draft, Rick Spielman picked Deangelo Williams with our pick.
