sounds weird but give this a try.

regular yogurt (no fruit) applied to it, allow it to dry there. there are live cultures in the yogurt that will attack the blister. i'm not sure what exactly happens and it's been years since i had one to try it on but i hear it works. gotta be worth a try.

i have a male friend that gets a fever blister from exhaustion and stress... when he's sort of run down i guess.

I shouldn't be exhausted or stressed. I don't do anything.

I get them maybe 4 times a year. Stressful times seem to be the trigger for me. That Abreva (sp) stuff works best for me but the stuff is expensive. $15 for something around a dime size. But it works. First sign of one I apply it and within 2 days it is gone.

I do the same. Seven days later...still here. This is like three in one collided on my lip. It's the Perfect Fever Blister. Mark Wahlberg will star in a movie about it.

Yep, at the first sign one is coming on, start treating it. Somebody in college told me about using the gel inside a vitamen-E capsule. That seems to work well.

I went out and bought a bottle of this stuff. Will taking these things on a regular basis help keep from getting these nasty things? Hell I take a multi vitamin, garlic, fish oil, glucamin and a aspirin as well as prescribed meds Lipitor and HBP med already
