Mine was stolen several months back - the little shit who took mine got busted trying to use it at a gas station. He just so happened to be trying to make a purchase with the card when the cop who had taken my police report (only a couple hours before) walked in to buy something.

Apparently the jerk was arguing with the clerk whether or not he was actually me - seems that I had my picture put on all my credit cards and he was only about a foot shorter and 100 pounds heavier (plus a goatee). :D

    THREE BITS OF ADVICE:

    1. Call your credit card company ASAP and report it.

    2. Call the credit reporting agencies (the big three) and notify them that your card has been stolen so they can tag your name and social security number so they are aware that fraud has occured and it won't count against you. This also helps as a preventive measure in case the person decides to try and use your identity to get another card. Slim chance without your SS# but you never know.

    3. There is also a national fraud hotline (can't remember the number). Google it and see then call and make them aware.

    Best of luck....

You didn't by chance get gas at the Citgo @ Little Rock & 85? My roommate recently lost her card there and they filled up with gas, 2 trips to WalMart, $50 at Wingzone, Trip to K-Mart, and a trip to Lowes, all in couple of hours.

Checkout what happened to me.My wallet was stolen about 4 months ago.The first place the little shit goes is to the liquor store. What he doesn't know is that my brother-n-law owns it and knows what I look like.He gives the fellow some song and dance to stall him till the cops get there. He's now in the Cobb county jail.My wallet and all contents, yes even the cash were there. He goes to all that trouble for nothing.

Thing about those Credit Card/ATM cards, it comes right out of your checking account. Mine has my picture on it. Gas pumps don't check picture ID's though. I won't buy gas if it's not pay at the pump, unless I really need it, then I'll just a few gallons.

I hope they at least bought toys and condoms at Walmart.

    Sorry for your luck Patti

    I would've had a dinner on Patti.

Glad you're not out any money though. It pays to be careful with the plastic, especially at this time of the year.

Do you know I thought of that last night after I talked to the lady from the cc company.

What would keep someone from doing that? I bet it's done all the time.
