I just bought a All in One printer (HP 2410) but want to still us my other printer as the primary printer. I am using Windows XP Professional. What do I have to buy to be able to hook both printers to my computer. A switch of some sort so that the PC sees both printers. I am sure I can make the initial printer as the default printer

    yeah, what Dave said.....

you can share those printers too, so any computer on the network would have access to both printers as well, even wireless

We got our all-in-one on parallel, and the other on USB. I'd have them both on USB if I could spare the ports.

What's the printer that's not the 2410? That 2410 is pretty badass, I cant imagine why you wouldnt want it as your primary.

Some USB devices rely on USB alone for power, like flash card readers, ir digital cameras. Anytime you daisey chain a signal, it weakens. It can also slow down your printing, and even cause printing to fail, or print incomplete. If your using USB 2.0, don't expect to see advertised transfer speeds either. Burning DVD's or CD's through a USB hub and also cause failures.

You want a solid connection. A hub is like sharing a water hose basically.

Look on the box or in the manual of any USB device, hubs are not recommended.
