I must agree that he is a very physical reciever and takes some vicious shots on those crossing patterns.
Bottom line: I want this guy to play up to potential. If he does that and stays healthy this can be a good offense. Without him, we are weak at WR.

It won't be pretty without Moose.

uh .... if i remember right, it wasn't pretty last year with Moose (and Hayes).

actually, when i first starting read this thread, the thought occurred to me that without Moose we probably would be starting Byrd and Smith, with possibly Bright as the 3rd, and for some reason i kinda warmed to that idea ... toss in a healthy Walls and Weinke along with Foster, and you might have something

It wasn't pretty last year but there was a combination of things/happenings that resulted in our offense being so bad last year. Atleast this year we have the possibility of having a good running game, which should help Weinke and the receivers. I'm more worried about the Corners than our Receivers.

I would also hope they think of using more 2 TE sets. We have depth and talent at TE! Lets use it!

I am going to keep a running record of these little injuries...

Panthers | Muhammad Update - from KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
August 13, 2002 0:53:47 PT The Gaston Gazette reports Carolina Panthers WR Muhsin Muhammad (ankle) was held out of practice Monday to rest his sore ankle. He’s expected to play this week.

Not to mention the guy can't catch passes right in his freak'n hands.

I told you he is gonna let us down! :(

uh . . . he can only let you down if you are actually expecting him to practice and play with a boo-boo or catch the football when it's thown into his hands; otherwise, exactly what is your problem with the Moose? can you say overrated prima donna?

i missed the game (dammit to heck and that supposed sports bar in NY). but was pleasantly surprised to read that he caught 3 of 4 and he has yet to start whining. wonder how long this new set of coaches will put up with him dropping balls.

What I like about Moose is that a single CB can not stop him from running his route. He simply can out muscle them. He can get to the spot even when they know he's coming. Whether he can catch it is about 80% positive.
