A few months back I stated here that Muhammed will let us down. There are players in this league that would play this week with the injury he has. Muhammed is a punk. Plain and simple. I expect him to be out 2 games at a minimum. He has NO threshold for pain and can't and won't play banged up. All you Muhammed pimps can defend him all you want, but his track record speaks for itself. PUNK.

I'd like to see a list of recievers who play through a hammy one week after injury.

Is he prone to the injury? Yes. That's a given.

He could probably play, but we did that in 2000. He didn't have the burst the rest of the year.

Thats fine - but I am personally sick of excuses with Muhammed. Maybe the biggest game of the year for the Panthers and he sits. It just disappoints me. Let see if Morgan plays. There is a thing called heart and Muhammed doesn't have it IMO when it comes to playing through pain.

Different injury. Morgan I think will play. If Morgan had a hammy, my guess would be no. It robs you of speed, and is one of those injuries that only gets better with time.

And Moose has been playing through a sholder injury. Has nothing to do with pain. It has to do with performance. You can't run on a hammy. You can run with a hurt sholder.

    Blah, Blah, Blah...
Bottom line: The guy is on the sidelines again. Enough with all the excuses.

  6. durability is important in every player. what gets me is that he has had the same injury several times now. hamstring pulls are 100% preventable with proper stretching and strength training. maybe he isn't stretching them enough or long enough? maybe it is the trainer and strength coach not being on the same page?

A lot of receivers play with the injury, but the pulls vary in degreee and I'd suspect he's got a bad one. The bad ones can last up to a month....sometimes longer. It is worse for a DB than a receiver, the receiver has the advantage of knowing where he is going and doesn't have to dig to catch up like a DB has to.

Morgan's injury concerns me. He is presumeabley just going to "tough it out" with an injury that most players miss a few weeks for. He'll be slower and will lose power. Ahman Green isn't exactly slow....and the packers spread it around the whole field

have you ever had a hamstring injury? if not, you really shouldn't spout off about "he's letting us down" - I'm pretty sure he didn't try to get hurt, and a hamstring pull or strain isn't like a turned ankle or something you can wrap up and keep going. you pull that hammy and it's like a broken bone, you simply can't will it to keep working

I, for one, agree with Shocker. Maybe it isn't an injury that you can simply "tough it out", but Muhammed is definitely extremely injury prone. And it seems to me like when things aren't going well for the team, he doesn't bother to catch the ball, ala last season. WR is by far our biggest need in the upcoming draft, thanks to losers like Muhammed.
