Short version. New computer, trial of MS Office on it. I have MS Office 2007 already. Everytime I try and load the full version, it will not take the product code and only will take the trial version code. I have even uninstalled the trial version and it still won't take the full version code.

Do I just need to let the trial version run out then load the full version?

None of that helped. I wasted a lot of time last night on MS websites. I can just let it run out but I hate the pop ups that remind me that I am using a trial version.

** Actually this page helped. It just looked like all the other I had looked at. I will use this tonight.

    Thanks

Uninstal and then run CCleaner. Remove all "issues" you should be okay.

Turns out it was a bad Product Code. I had to call and they gave me a new one. WTF. I was done in 15 minutes.

Actually I was right... if the issue was a registry key not deleting after install then it woulda fixed the issue. I can't know he was given the wrong key.

It's just funny that all it took was another key. All the reinstalling and cleaning in the world won't work if the key is wrong.
