Motherboard/chipset Question

    There are very few cases of any amd hitting 3.0...what memory speed? cooling is he/she using?

    He's running a high performance thermaltake hs/f. He bought it at newegg so it still should be there. Cost a little more than mine.

    Memory I'm almost certain is 2 x 512 Corsair PC3500? 3700? some ridiculous stuff that's faster than my Kingston PC3200. Came in a two pack package w/ a warranty and guaranty to overclock.

    He's a little more willing to dump $$ into his "habit" than I am. I enjoy tinkering with it, but purposefully stay within the value end of the curve.

    CPU: Athlon-M 2600+ (not the 2400+ - sorry, brainfart)

    (for reference, the default clock speed on an XP 3200+ is 2.2 Ghz)

    ok..thats 2.6 which is about right. Nowhere close to 3g. damn good clock. he should add some volts to that thing.
