One that got to my dad was The Town That Dreaded Sundown. He and my mom went to see at the drive-in back in the day, and when he got home he wanted to put deadbolts on the doors. The funny thing is that he worked a bread route back then and one of his stops was that drive in. He got there the next day, it was about 4 in the morning, and somebody had broken in and there was glass laying all over the floor. He turned around and was staring the poster to the movie right in the face with hooded guy on the front. Needless to say, the bread was thrown to the floor and he got out. I would have loved to have seen his face when he saw that poster. He never has been a horror fan, and certainly isn't one after this.
