Seems that now Randy is holding a misd. drug charge...if he is suspended by NFL, how does that figure into the salary cap problems he creates at Minn?

If he's suspended, his pro-rated base salary doesn't count towards the cap, because suspension is with out pay. His bonus money will still count though.

I'm still saying when Moss goes out, the Vikings will win. They are not playing team ball, and they won't until they have to play without Moss.

    i hope so...i sure hope so, y2!

i have a feeling it will be a rude awakening for moss. the team seem to depend on him so much. put so much into what he does and doesnt. cant they just play their game? wtf?

first off, learn to tackle, dammit. it's a freggin basic.

  4. His lawyer will probably get that charge dropped too. And how in the hell can ESPN report he's in the substance abuse program. Isn't shit like that suppose to be confidential?

Yea right. Pro ahtletes live in a fish bowl. Ain't shit confidential.

  6. I know that much but if that's the case why don't they just list EVERYBODY who's in the program so the whole world can know. Don't just limit it to one player.

It was Randy himself who was the one that put it out in the open in defending himself against charges that he was high at the time of the incident with the officer. When he said it wasn't his dope, he also said something to the effect of "The NFL knows about me and marijuana" (paraphrasing). Can't remember the exact quote. But basically he admitted he was being tested by the NFL in an attempt to show that the pot found in the car couldn't have been his. The news outlets (CNNSI reported it too) ran with it from there.
