I don't know Moss personally, but I have a cousin who lives in Minneapolis and knows a few of the Viking football players, and from what she tells me, Moss seems attracted to trouble like a moth to a flame.

I would feel differently had Moss handled himself differently and shown some contrition. Everybody makes mistakes, but he was definitely in the wrong here. Had he apologized to the woman and the public for this silly spectacle and taken responsibility, all would've been forgiven and forgotten.

I'm not a Randy hater. I am just tired of people that try to make excuses - which is why I spoke up. That's all. I've heard both sides now and I'm satisfied that the right action was taken by the authorities to make the charges that were made.

And if you want to argue for some circumspection, you may want to send a note to Mr. Moss instead of a message board. It looks to me like he needs it more than we do. I think that's the point of most of the people here. People coddling him and having him rarely show responsibility for his actions is why he is at this point today.

I wouldn't call the reaction of this board, the Minnesota Vikings, the NFL, the media or Jane Appelseed from Racine, Wis., "coddling." I would call it one-sided and unkind.

I wouldn't either. You miss the point. Pretty much everything up to this point has been excused or wiped away because he has "talent". At some point, people say enough is enough. This is the reaction you are talking about from the board, the Vikes and everyone else. I guess you simply haven't reached that point yet. Maybe some day if you are out on the road and his stoned ass runs you over you will. Until then, I am guessing there is nothing anyone can say to get you to see it.

    Whatever.

There is one in every crowd.

Maybe next time Randy will run over the bitch right? Get a clue man.

I understand all of the arguments presented here. But I am simply not convinced of his guilt or of the beyond-bad rap he gets.

I also am a great skeptic of anyone who claims to enforce the law.

what i read was that she isnt a cop, boo. if the decision was not fair and he shoulda been in jail longer, etc. or shot (?) lol then our justice system must be really fucked up. i mean minny's. c'mon now. this has gone too far. fighting over this is way silly. opinions are fine, but to be rational is more important. ok, common sense. just plain common sense. take all of moss's other shit out of the equation and it is just misdemeanor. at least that is what minny thinks. and it should be. of all people, you think he is gonna get special treatment? most people hate him, even his team mates! lol i tend to think sometimes he might be the injured party. sometimes, ok? JMO. not a moss hater here, nor a moss lover. a viking fan, yes.
