IF he completes the average number of years for a NFL linebacker his medical charts just might rival Evel Knievel’s. His history as a NFL player to date says that the man is not suddenly going to just “get over” getting injured and become durable. Maybe if he went to some team in the Himalayas and monks trained him to alter his consciousness or some such shit. If we were able to get a 2nd for him at the end of this season it would make me feel like we would not be losing much. That would sure as hell be a whole lot more than any number of 1st rounders that have disappeared from this team.)

If they can get a 2nd for him, pull the trigger.

trades in the NFL are rare, especially in the season. This isn't baseball or hoops. I can't even think of the last midseason trade to happen.

exactly how do you draft a "non-injury prone" player? morgan was fine thru college. it wasn't till he got to the pros that he started getting banged up. there is NO WAY of guaranteeing that you're drafting a "non-injury prone" player

Morgan was about the safest pick you could ever have. 100+ tackles 4 yrs in a row at Miami and NEVER fucking injuried. NEVER.

Give it some time and see if he gets through this. He is so good when he is on the field.

Morgan played 5 games last year and was an alternate for the Pro Bowl. He's that good.

And he's not injury prone. He's been injury plagued, there's a diffence. I know it doesn't get him on the field more, but he's not "prone" to injury.

I wanted to trade Morgan at the beginning of last year, and I got slammed on the board, but I have changed my mind for this year, we need him. If he can get healthy, he's the best MLB in the league IMO.

Urlatcher is overrated. He can't shed blockers, you can run at him.
