Monitor Problems

    It sounds to me like someone has changed the settings in your resolution or colors. Boot in safe mode and check your settings. Your video card may not have the ram to run your monitor in True Color or higher than 800x600 or both. Also you mhz may be too high. Lower these settings and reboot. Make sure when you change these settings in the future you let the computer test the settings before you apply.
