Trading down is great in theory but unless you can get a dance partner you either get screwed or you stay at your current spot

Gabbert was trash and I said so before that draft, but for the record, Gabbert is still a more accurate passer in the red zone and on third downs than Cam Newton. And I already noted that many predicted the team would select Newton, but pretty much everyone agreed that he shouldn't go in the top 10.

Since the draft is deep with DT's do think there's a chance the panthers draft tavon Austin (wr from wv). Kinda a smith clone.

I think he's proven he SHOULD have went in the top 10.

LOL, you're like a barnacle with those stats. Is Cam better than anyone in redzone passing?

Thankfully there is more to QBing than those two stats. And thankfully most people were wrong about Cam being worth a top 10 pick.

He's proven nothing of the sort. Right now Cam is a mediocre QB who occasionally shows flashes of brilliance. Technically he has one fourth quarter comeback, but that was only down by one until a field goal with 12:40 left against Philadelphia. Against everyone else he's come up small when it counted most.

No. He's the absolute worst in the entire NFL, which was kind of my point.

    Based on what?

That's your argument? Lol since when did football become a one man sport? If this was basketball you'd have a point.

I wanted Patrick Peterson. I'm still on the fence about Cam. He's fun to watch, but he also does (and says) shit that makes him hard to like. And it's tough to ignore a 13-19 record.
