Start re-thinking all the mock drafts.

Bengals | Pre-Draft Deal Coming? - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
10:07 PT: Bengals.com reports the Cincinnati Bengals may be looking to deal their No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft if the team is offered the right player in the appropriate situation. Head coach Marvin Lewis said it was in the team’s best interest to get a clean, quick pre-draft deal.

They don't really need WR. Nobody else really on the roster to offer em. We have some great young defensive players but all are probably untouchable (Pep, Morgan, Jenkins, Rucker).

I'd offer em picks though. But might rather sit still and see if Leftwich comes down to us or just pick best player.

We probably don't need to give up too much for #1.

I hear ya. When you look at the first round - you don't see ANY teams that would give up much to go to #1. Maybe the Raiders give up 2 late first rounders to go up and get Gannons successor but the Bengals would be crazy to go down that far. The Saints could go up for DT or Newman - I doubt it. Washington no longer has a first - so no - they ain't getting up there. The Jets could make a play for Rogers but I doubt it.

#1 pick will be way too expensive
    salary wise
    cap wise
    loss of picks

    #4?, thats another story

not really because if the rumors of Muhammed leaving are true that should be enough cap space to sign whoever gets drafted

    Are you sure Brain?
I am no capologists nor do I want to be.
But if Moose is making #1 starter money, CUT HIS ASS!
I would rather have a number one pick than bong boy!

    :reb:

if moose money actually = #1 pick money
    say bye bye Moose!

well, the Bengals would still have to be dumb enough to go for that deal
    .............................................................................................. .
but they are the Bungles so you never know
