Who do you think has the best pitching staff. Included is Starters, Middle Relief and Closer

Hard to say as each team has both strenghts and weaknesses. Oakland IMO has the best 3 starters with Mulder, Zito and Hudson. Los Angeles has the premier closer in Gagne. The Cubs have Wood and Prior but Borowski as a closer. The Red Sox are damn close at Schilling, Pedro and Lowe as their 3 starters that would go in any 7 game series and Keith Foulke closing. Yankees Mussina, Brown and Vazquez and Riveria closing but horrible middle relief. I know you guys would roll your eyes if I throw out my Phillies Wolf, Millwood, Myers, Padilla and Eric Milton, the best setup man in MLB Rheal Cormeir and Billy Gun Wagner. So I cast my vote for the Bo Sox

i voted sox. i agree with everything you said, except oakland having the best 1-3 in the rotations. hands down the red sox with pedro, schills, and lowe in my opinion for the top 1-3.

Houston. They have 4 legit number one starters. And as much as I hate the fucking traitor - don't underestimate the effect of Clemens.

I think a lot depends on Pedro Martinez. If his arm comes back this year its Boston, but if not I'm going with Chicago.

IMO, Clemens is done. He will pitch 6 innings and bitch about his shoulder, and be put on a 15 DL.

I think the Cubs have the staff. They are my pick to win the World Series. They are young, and Baker somehow finds a way to win. I grew up a Cubs fan and a Dodgers fan. I think alot of people are that way for 2 reasons, a. Harry Carey, and B. they were on TV everyday, so if you wanted to watch baseball, you had to watch the Cubs. So, if yall dont mind, as yall shouldn't cause the Dodgers dont want to spend money, I wanna switch to a Cubs fan this year. :)

Clemens will pitch his usual 200+ and his effect on the young guys will be the same as it was on Pettite. Which is freaking scary, because Oswalt, (and maybe Miller and Redding, too) probably has more talent than Pettite does.

good point. his leadership will benefit the team more than his actually pitching. Wish I got paid that much to pat some dudes on the ass and tell them "in Texas, we throw the curve like this"
