I'm a little bummed too. Just so the Yankees or the Dodgers don't win it. I still can't understand the Cards going into the toilet the way they did.

    2. Los Angeles Dodgers - National League
    3. Anaheim Angels - Between Scoscia (sp) being one of the best managers in the league and probably Vlad's last year there

I would like the Phillies to win again too. I like the Angels because of the way the franchise is operated. They are a model for the rest of the league. Phillies bullpen is a big concern provided of course they take care of the Rockies. If the freakin Braves could have gotten in, they might have been a threat with their pitching but of course if my uncle had gonads........

At least the Phillies & Rockies play at 6:00 tonight instead of 10:00.
Cliff Lee back on the mound again for the Phillies. He had their number in game 1. Phillies need to finish it off tonight.

I'd love to see Joe Torre beat his former team. Then again, we might just see an all-LA World Series. Angels are good!

I don't think the Dodgers will get past the Phillies.

I got home late last night and was paying attention via text messages from ESPN. When I saw Colorado went up 2 I almost threw my phone against the wall. Then as I was driving home and listening to it on XM and Howard hit the double to tie the game my arms were flailing around cheering. The Rockie fans there had to have felt like they were punched in the gut. Thankfully I didn't hear the ninth until Lidge got the final out verses the 2 men that got on base. With Lidges season that was far from a given.
The Phillies HAD to win last night to keep their rotation in some sort of positive form. They can start Hamel's in game 1 verses the Dodgers and come back with Lee in game 2 getting 2 starts from each if need be. Lose last night they would have had to start Happ or Blanton in game 1 (assuming they had won game 5) and not get 2 starts each from your top guys.
