Just to let everyone know...I am a Braves fan since Dale Murphy played, but here is my honest predictions....

    League Divison Series
    Twins over Yankees in 5
Athletics over Red Sox in 5
    Giants over Marlins in 5
    Braves over Cubs in 4

    League Championship
    Athletics over Twins in 6
    Braves over Giants in 7

    World Series
    Athletics over Braves in 7

Let me know what u think!

    Cubs' lack of experience?

Kenny Lofton was in the World Series just last year. Ramon Martinez, last year. Tom Goodwin, last year. Damian Miller, 2001. Tony Womack, 2001. Mike Remlinger, 1999. Sammy Sosa, Kerry Wood, Eric Karros, Dave Veres and Mark Guthrie all have been to the playoffs before.

The Braves have a lack of World Series experience. They haven't been there since 1999 and they've choked the last 3 years in a big way.

Atlanta has lost 17 of its past 24 postseason games, including nine of 12 at home.

Re: Re: While I hate the Cubs....

that would be in fenway. i'm seriously doubting the boston fans and owners would allow him to be in the state of massachusetts, much less in fenway for a game 7.:D

Is that the guy that missed the ground ball in the World Series for the Red Sox a long time ago?

But I would LOVE to see the Cubs and Red Sox in the WS.

I can beat that...at least 90 percent of the Braves roster has been in postseason play, including World Series play for most of them. Being a diehard Braves fan and knowing as bad as we play in postseason, I don't think you can ever make lack of experience as an excuse for the Braves.

As far as your list of players, I'll give you credit for Loftin and Womack. Sosa only played in 98 along with Wood, and Karros has never made it pass the first round of a playoff series. I don't think I would call that post season experience compared to other players playing for other teams this postseason.
