According to the Post Gazette, there was no doubt the star of the Pittsburgh Steelers three-day mini-camp was WR Antwaan Randle El. Coaches, players and scouts buzzed of his ability to run routes and catch passes.

The Star Tribune reports, even though it was just mini-camp, two Minnesota Vikings undrafted rookie WRs stood out this weekend, Wisconsin's Nick Davis and Georgia Tech's Kelly Campbell.

Mike O'Hara of The Detroit News reports for the USA TODAY Detroit Lions rookie QB Joe Harrington completed an impressive mini-camp Sunday. Harrington appeared to be a bona fide prospect, with no apparent holes. Veterans on both sides of the ball were impressed with the way Harrington conducted himself in the three-day camp, which ended Sunday. "He's going to be a good one," RB James Stewart said. "His release, it's on the money. I've never seen him not throw a spiral. I don't know what to expect if he doesn't throw one." Coach Marty Mornhinweg insists that Mike McMahon, who started three games last season as a rookie, is the No. 1 QB and Ty Detmer is the backup - right now.

Well, Kelley is the only one I'm longing for, though I wouldn't have minded Randle if he dropped to us in the third. I know he tested for positive for pot, but he's a playmaker. I think dropping from possible 1st round status to undrafted should humble him.

To continue the theme, Coughlin was quoted as saying Henderson was the strongest pass rusher at the Jag mini camp.

With that said, I don't think coaches are going to say, WTF, he sucks!!!

Whatever happened to Daryl Daniel (I think was his name.)? From what I saw last preseason, the guy made a few nice catches and seemed better at getting off the line than Hayes. I think he may have been Wienke's first TD pass in preseason or one of them.

Never understood why he did not surface somewhere???

Yeah, you shouldn’t be posting at all, Larry. Better rest up for those late night feedings.
