    Same basic situation.

Bad defense. Real bad. At least Detroit has a solid front 4. The Vi-queens have Hovan.

No line. We should be able to put pressure on Culpepper with just our 4, who fumbled the ball a lot this week. It's a trend with him.

They did put up a lot of yards and a good amount of points in their first two games, and having two close road losses, they'll be mad at home.

This is a winnable game. But we will have bring pressure, play 60, and attack on offense. Keep that nice run/pass mix like last year, force some early outs, keep taking chances down the field and be efficient with our opportunities. Because Cullpepper isn't going to just keep 3 and outing all day.

I think this is a game where we really need to use our ball control offense. The longer we can keep Culpepper and Moss off the field the better our chances will be. Their front four isn't very strong so we should be able to establish a solid running game. On defense, we should be able to afford to slide a safety over to double up on Moss. After him, no one has really shown that much explosiveness. With all of this being said, I think the Vikings are too good of an offensive team for us to settle w/ field goals when we approach get into the red zone. Overall, should be a nice matchup and I really like our chances.

They do have Moss obviously, who's leagues better than anyone we've seen so far, but there are ways to limit him somewhat. He'll get grabs, but we can also find ways to shut him down for the most part ...let's just hope they work.

Hovan, yeah. That'll probably be an automatic doubleteam. We should be able to run up the middle and around end, both, with no problem.

Probably best to use just four anyway. All he has to do on blitz reads is run half the time, and four on the rush means 5 on the second level most of the time, the best situation for containing Culpeper's runs.

    Minnesota's O-line isn't so great either.

Don't know if it's as bad as Detroit's, but it's got some issues.

Agree that we need the same formula that we used in the first 2 games. Ball control, no turnovers and get a few turnovers ourselves. As for Moss, we need Dr. Jeckel to show up and we need to watch Alexander who can hurt you on a good day.

It does look like we are going to need to put points up to beat them - so Muhammed will play a big role IMO.

However, there are an aweful lot of factors in their favor IMO.
Revenge factor, coming off close loss, at home, our 1st road game, Moss and Alexander vs our secondary, etc.

Would be a very impressive win IMO.

I'd like to see us put Peppers on Moss at the line... kind of stall Moss a bit. :D
