    Mike Tolbert got $2.7 million guaranteed from Panthers. The $8.4 million total possible value was abt $1 million less than Chargers offered.

    Nice insurance policy is Stewart isn't here after next year. Sterwart is better than Tolbert but by how much? Not that I am advocating not aggressively trying to resign him but with Tolbert on board it isn't as dire to do so.

    i have a silent LOL at that every single day. welcome to the post journalism world. bloggers sitting in their underwear linking and forwarding the viral events that go for news these days. Today Skip Bayless tried to make Schlereth 'take a stand' and say whether or not the Broncos would win the super bowl this year. Why do they feel compelled to have a complete opinion within 6 hours of these events...why cant they let it marinade a little bit longer before entertaining their idiotic hypotheticals. Makes me think of the Zappa song 'Trouble Every Day', from which this excert sticks out:
