    All three men have led their team to the Super Bowl.
    All three men were obscure assistant coaches with the New York Giants.
    Apparently, this is the formula to follow.

    Yep. Landry was Lombardi's counterpart on that same Giant team.

    Ah, yes.

    I was actually thinking about my favorite stat of all time:

    Lombardi, Parcells and Fox are the only three men to take a team to the Super Bowl two years removed from a one win season.

    I am leaving out many coaches who rose from the ashes of obscurity to greatness. Funny thing is, none of Lombardi's assistants ever did a damn thing.

    No. NE was the team Parcells did it with. I think.

    Giants...he won 2 Super Bowls with the Giants and lost with the Pats.

    I thought the Seifert Panthers and the Kotite Jets were the only 2 teams to go 1-15... :thinking:
