96 vs the steelers - pick in the endzone to seal the game and the division championship... one of the great moments in Panthers history.

    Hell yeah, give Cota one.:189:

Everyone else besides you who met Mills seems to think that it was an incredible experience. The man couldn't be classified as just a football player, and as much as I like both Minter and Rucker, no one comes close to Mills in that respect. I don't know that I've met anyone like him in any walk of life. There was just something about his vitality that lifted up the people around him, and that made him loved by this franchise despite only two seasons played.

He deserves that statue more than anyone else could, regardless of performance, because he represents the best of what each player should hope to be. That's what you want people to think of when they think of your team.

    so where's Reggie White's statue?

I personally would not like to see anymore statues of anybody.

but do I think the #30 should be retired? without a doubt

Reggie only played one season. Reggie didn't become a coach. Reggie hated fags. Reggie didn't make the pro bowl with the Panthers.

No one who has played for the panthers and retired deserves a statue including Mills. Thought he was a great player and leader but come on, 2 years? Why not give Kevin Greene one too.
