If Coach K does not go down with his back injury then that team wins twenty games easy.

The team that struggled the year he was out. I think that was '95 actually.

Whats funny about the UNC folks argument about K is exactly what makes him the best coach. He wins with lesser talent. Carolina on the other hand has all these superstars in the NBA and not as much success as Duke

The NBA isnt about team ball, its about athletic skills. Thats why Duke players dont succeed in the NBA. Could they play in the NBA, the Olypics suggest they could.

Carter greatly underachieved at UNC. Jamison was a hundred times better in college than Carter was. Carter had about the same career Daniel Ewing is having at Duke. Not outstanding, but good. Duke players are starting to come around and play better in the NBA. Duhon is doing A HUNDRED times better than I ever thought he would with the Bulls, Deng is a top 10 rookie as well, and Grant Hill is back!

Remember back during the carter era at how many Carolina players left early...Carter, Jamison, Stackhouse, Wallace. Am I forgetting anybody? Imagine the possibilities if they had stayed their whole college careers, or even just through their junior year. Most Duke players weren't leaving early back then. Regardless, that's just how it is though. If, Ifs and buts were candy and nuts, what a merry christmas it would be.

And I'll agree that Dukes players will be a force in the NBA very soon, almost there now anyway from what I'm seeing and hearing.
