Micheals & Madden

I have been tired of Madden for years. Now I'll just have to mute MNF like I used to do the main FOX game every week.

And sorry, I would have to kill my TV if Spears had commentary for the whole game.

I may be in the minority, but I'll miss Miller and Fouts. Fouts new the modern game better than Madden does, and Miller, I'm sorry, I've always found him funny. The scripted stuff came off scripted, but I always had a couple of chuckles a game off some impromtu cracks, and he made the blowouts watchable.

In the end, ABC still has missed the point. TV ratings won't come back up with announcers. Put more money in production, and get better matchups, and hope for games like we had in 2000 each week.

1999 was probably the worst season ever. Boomer and bad games each week.

 

Madden is a Blowbag. He is the most irritating announcer since Howard. I enjoy reading Maddens interviews, but I can't stand listening to him. I am so relieved he is off Fox' main game as they are often better than whatever is on MNF. Fouts, Miller and Michaels will be missed at my house. I felt Michaels truely enjoyed Miller for the most part. Madden BOOM oops its like BANG some kinda OUCH terrets or something. With tough actin tenactin and Ace hardware comercials filling in the space during timeouts there might not be a break.

 

It was Madden and Michaels first game. I personally liked them MUCH better than last yrs team. I did like Fouts though, and he could add something. I think these 2 will be great.

 

I did like one quote from Madden "you don't go to the comedy zone and expect to see a damn sportscaster " .

 

The one constant in MNF's continually tanking rankings is and was Al Micheals. He does a good job of calling baseball, but he blows chunks calling football.

Kakia, the only reason you don't like Madden is because he looks like the Penquin and that ain't cute. If he looked like Carr you would think that BOOM shit was darling.

 

Anyone hear whether he got the role of Mushmouth in the new Fat Albert movie?
