An MJ imposter on PRIMETIME? The #1 Sportstalk show in the Carolinas (as well as the South probably)? Your telling me that the '#1 sportstalk show in the country' (Jim Nantz-CBS Sports) would conduct a faux MJ interview on its show? No way would the (Southern) King of All Media (radio show, SOUTHERN FRIED SPORTS SHOW on WTVI, articles in the Rhino Times) resort to cheesy gimmicks to pull in listeners :) . . . I'm sure he has MJ on speedial on his cell phone :D :D !!!!!!!

Please tell me that people don't think that was actually MJ on Primetime. You can't be serious.

Put me in the camp of thinking it'd be a bad move to bring MJ in as GM. Sounds like its going to happen though. Will that now mean that we'll have both the owner and GM running the business from cities far away?

Maybe I'm an idiot. If it was an impersonator then that show truely sucks ass worse then I already thought it did. It's not like it's funny or anything.

The guy that has been on many times over the years is the impersonator, he likes to make fun of the way MJ talks in the 3rd person but, he over does it.

I have been listening to people "crap" on MJ's ability to be a GM for a while on here...in the papers and radio. I AM NOT A JORDON FAN....but I do want to stick up for him a little.

I remember when Michael went to Washington....everyone was questioning that decision. The team was in serious trouble. They had guys that they couldn't dump and no possibility of getting in the playoffs...they stunk. Granted, they aren't a championship team...but MJ only had three years there and he did get the seats filled. Yes you can argue that some of the moves he made didn't work out. But thats easy to say AFTER the fact. I don't remember anyone bitching about the trades when they happened.

I think MJ brought some ...some...credibiity to that team....he got them out of being the laughing stock of the NBA...and wanted to win.

Now...as far as coming to Charlotte....I am not sure I would want him here....he hasn't proven that he is a TOP gm. But he doesn't suck either. I would rather not see him in Charlotte...but I think that its a mute point....he is already here my friends.

Lets just hope that he does a good job and pray that he doesn't stock up on UNC players

He hasn't been very good at spotting talent.

He actually played faily well the last couple years. Not the Michael of old, but still a good player. With average talent, they'd be a playoff team.

That kind of puts that team and MJ's GM moves in perspective. He could still play, and yet even he could not win more than 37 for them.

I just want to know...with what he came into...the situation that the Wizards were in...remember they had Howard...a guy over-paid and no one really wanted him....who could have done better. Take a look at Memphis...where is the talent on that team...where are they getting better...what GREAT moves had their GM done? West....a guy that is supposed to be one of the best GM's in the history of the NBA has done nothing.

The bottom line is ...you have to have something to give in order to recieve something in return....and when Jordan came in...he didn't have much to play with except a huge payroll. I think he did a good job while he was there. He was trying to build a team that had something to build on.

Just keep a look at the Wizards and see how quickly they go in the crapper. I don't expect anything from that organization.

I didn't realize we needed an inside source to verify that it is a MJ impersonator. LOL. Like MJ would ever take the time of day to talk to Primetime. And if they did, there would be a lot more butt kissing.
