    Seems like a poor manager - or a dick.

    Got on Primetime Tuesday, and spouted about how everyone knows where his heart is (as in not in Wahington). He was very clear about not talking about anything off contract, but the whole point of his appearance was to pump Charlotte up for his impending arrival.

    Then, he complained of callous treatment for being released the way he was the next day, without discussion.

    Fuck that. If your heart's not there, thank them. That's wierd. If 'callous' mean not having a goddam parade, then you're a primadonna, and you're gonna suck here, too.

    MJ's hard core, and hard core people tend to have a hard time dealing with people. It's the "my way or the highway" mentality. I think that was Do's biggest problem at UNC, and Magic's problem when he was coaching the Lakers. I'd like to see Jordan as a figure head, but the thought of him dealing with players / coaches is kinda scarey.

    are you sure this wasnt the MJ impersonator that packman gets on the air whenever mj makes the news?

    i like mj, and i'd love to see him in charlotte.

    I'm not a Carolina fan but I always enjoyed watching Jordan play basketball. He was one of the only reasons I USED to keep up with pro basketball, and it lost a lot when he fizzled out. I could take that "where his heart is" as in Chicago really. I know that's not what he wanted other people to think, but could be what he was thinking.

    That said, I wouldn't want him here unless he had no say in decision making as an owner. If he just wants to own and watch, I would be OK with that if he bought into ownership. But not as a GM.

    Actually, I don't care that much, because I don't know that anything's gonna make me care a lot about the NBA anymore. But if we had a competitive team with a good owner it would help.

    I'm sure it was the impersonator- Do you really think Michael Jordan would give Packman the time of day? Ecspecially when Jordan just got fired. I didn't hear it but, it couldn't have really been MIKE.
