DT was the idol of just about every player of his generation. MJ did a good thing. Thompson should not be forgotten and this will make some young people aware of his game.

David Thompson was the best college player I ever saw...

    Thompson & Jordan

Were leaders of the Top 2 ACC Basketball Teams of all-time. Thompson's 74 Wolfpack team, coached by Norm Sloan, is undoubtedly the best team, if a vote was ever taken, just ahead of Jordan's 82 Tar Heel squad. The 82 Tar Heel team (featuring Jordan, James Worthy, & Sam Perkins), enjoyed much more success after college.

    All right, LClefty04

I'm going to beat you to the punch. You can call me Jim Nantz or Tim Brando, but for God's sake don't say Billy Packer or Dickie V.:rotflmao:
