I just got back from a preview screening of Men In Black II. Pretty good... I went in with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The trailers we've all seen ad nausium didn't give away as much as I was afraid they had - most of what they show happens in the first 5 minutes of the flick.
Tommy Lee Jones isn't playing as much back seat to Smith in this one, which I think makes the movie a little stronger. They're working off each other rather than Will just bashing Tommy thoughout the pic.
There were fewer subtle jokes in this one, pretty much all over the top.
The story is a little weak and like Spiderman, I was turned off quite a bit by the none to subtle product placements (I guess I can't really complain seeing as how I got in for free because I sell Sprint phones - one of the major sponsors.) Those are my only real complaints.
Over all I'd give it a solid 3.5 out of 5 (Mags, if you could, convert that into Canadian for "those" people). Give it a shot while it's still in the theater - you'll enjoy it.

Just watch out for the Balchinian.

aww big mark, any movie where there's an alien disguised as Biz Markee that speaks beat box is worth 4 stars. Quit holding back on the MIB's.

Don't you think Will Smith is hurting his career by doing MIB II? It just doesn't look as good as the first one.

20 mil won't hurt his pocketbook. Besides, how can he hurt his career making another low brow dumb summer movie. He's a commercial star anyway. He's got a little talent, but he is no Kevin Spacey or Ed norton.

Dude, that's cool, I was at the Mills too. We need a TBR call or something that whenever you go into a public place you can yell it out to see if there are any others there too.

    hrmmmm, maybe not.

what about those watches the single people in china used. If someone else had the same watch, it would make a sound alerting the wearer that another wearer was near by. I almost think it was used to help single males meet other single females.

Now that I think about it, I was a little nausious for part of the movie... maybe it was a TBR Quickening.

    There can be only one.

There can be only one guy that looks like Warren Moon in the same theatre with a guy that has orange hair?
