    ever since that napster thing, i thought less of metallica. this might not be true, but they still dont do it anymore. shoulda quit when they were ahead. ;)

    The new Metallica takes a lot of getting used to. I wasn't a fan after the first listen. Then again, any CD I love after one listen has no lasting power.

    NOW...I really dig St. Anger. Like it or not...they are a hell of a band.

    there was an article in the observer a couple of weeks ago which they seemed to be them defending their album. they claimed they didn't want to "over produce" the album...that's why the drum sound sucks so bad amoung other things.
