A very embarrassing situation in Cleveland this past weekend. Those of you who haven't heard......in last weeks game agains't the Ravens the HOME fans booed when Couch left the field injured with a concussion. A complete lack of class if you ask me. Cleveland fans have never had much class anyway, remember the plastic beer bottles last year??

Tim, forget Cleveland.......if they don't want you there I for one would be happy to see you in a Panther's uniform.

They were cheering actually, cheering for Holcomb, the leagues highest rated passer, to come in. Yea, Couch would look great in Charlotte. Ask to be traded or demand a release. We can send Cleve a couple 4th's and a 2nd. Oh yea, and we got this Heisman guy.

    Holcomb Injured In Browns' Loss
This report filed October 8, 2002

Quarterback Kelly Holcomb suffered a hairline fracture of the lateral tibial plateau in his left leg along with a sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee during the fourth quarter of the Browns’ 26-21 loss to Baltimore Sunday night. His playing status is week-to-week.

Holcomb replaced starting quarterback Tim Couch with 10 minutes left in the game after Couch suffered a mild concussion. Holcomb completed 13-of-23 passes for 180 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions, during the Browns late rally.

The club will have no further comment today. Browns Head Coach Butch Davis will address all questions during his Wednesday press conference.

Couch's contract is pretty steep for a guy that's never really been a big winner in the pros.

I'm not saying I don't like him, but his contract is MASSIVE.

    Here's the contract:
    2002 4,400,000.00
    2003 6,200,000.00
    2004 7,600,000.00
    2005 8,000,000.00

    That's excluding bonus money.

I'd only want him if he was cut. And honestly, I'd rather have Holcomb. Holcomb won't get cut, though.
