Are they really worthy of number one? I am looking forward to the Tenessee and Memphis game

As much as I hate Calimari and Mempiss, they sure have looked like the #1 team in the country. If they do lose to UT, I don't see how they can't stay #1 as they will still be the only team in the country with one loss and they played a hell of a schedule.

problem is, they have had a generally weak schedule. C-USA is in a down year.

Georgetown, Arizona, USC, at Oklahoma, at Cincinnati, at UCONN, Gonzaga, Tennesse and UAB and Houston in conference.

    Yeah, that is weak.

they didn't play at Uconn. If they had, they'd have lost.

Preseason NIT at MSG, you're right. That's what I get for trusting ESPN.

I'm just joking anyway. Memphis woulda handled Uconn wherever they played at that time, although I'd give the huskies a good chance at beating them now. I think memphis will get a one seed, but then I'd pick them to be the one seed that loses the soonest.

I don't know. I think a team like Duke without a dominate big man or UNC without a solid defense would be suspect to lose first as a #1 seed. I think the 1-2 punch out of Tennesse is the strongest in the country right now.

But, Memphis absolutely sucks at FTs and that could cost them in the tournament. Especially if they go into it without a loss.

Well all teams have a weakness, just whether the other team can exploit it or not.
